We are seeking a highly motivated, expert QA/QC and Commissioning Project Engineer to join our Global Construction Team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of multiple semiconductor construction projects across various locations. You will provide expert oversight and guidance while encouraging teamwork between our Global and Local Construction Teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans for assigned semiconductor construction projects, ensuring alignment to project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Be responsible for and manage the activities of Local QA/QC Inspectors, providing technical mentorship and support.

  • Conduct audits and inspections of construction activities, materials, and equipment to identify and mitigate potential quality issues.

  • Participate in the development and execution of commissioning plans, ensuring proper equipment functionality and system performance.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal collaborators (engineering, procurement, operations) and external contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure project timelines are met.

  • Document QA/QC activities, findings, and corrective actions in a clear and concise manner.

  • Continuously improve QA/QC processes by identifying and implementing standard methodologies.

  • Travel to project sites as needed to perform on-site inspections and provide support to Local Construction Teams.

Delineation of Global vs. Local Roles:

  • Global QA/QC and Commissioning Project Engineer: Provides strategic oversight, technical expertise, and standardization across all projects. Manages the overall QA/QC program and coordinates activities between Local Teams.

  • Local QA/QC Inspectors: Responsible for the day-to-day execution of the QA/QC plan at their assigned project site. Report directly to the Global QA/QC and Commissioning Project Engineer and collaborate with local construction personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-10+ years of experience in QA/QC project work.

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
