As a Governance Engineer in the Global Engineering Laboratories at Micron, you will join a groundbreaking team leading the way to automate and implement lab policy compliance! We drive initiatives and strategies for all Micron’s labs. This role focuses on assuring ESD, EHS & Security compliance. These three pillars are a major part of our business keeping our team members and products safe and secure enabling outstanding laboratories!

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement Electro Static Discharge, EHS, Chemical & Security policies and procedures across the global laboratory sites.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant international standards & regulations.

  • Provide mentorship and knowledge to laboratory staff and managers on ESD, EHS, Chemical and Security standard methodologies and requirements.

  • Coordinate with EHS and Security department to develop automated processes to meet their current standards.

  • Manage and report on ESD, EHS, Chemical & Security incidents and corrective actions by coordinating with multiple teams to implement global solutions.

  • Collaborate with other specialists and departments to ensure Electro Static Discharge, EHS, Chemical and Security integration and alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in one of the following - Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, EHS.

  • At least 4 years of experience in ESD, EHS, Chemical and Security coordination or management in a semiconductor laboratory environment. We are also open to manufacturing sectors outside of Semiconductor.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and partners.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with an ability to work independently and under pressure.

  • Knowledge of ESD, EHS, Chemical and Security standards and regulations, such as ISO 14001, OHSA 18001, IATF 96949 etc.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$79,000.00 - $231,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
