As the Director of Business Unit Sales - Worldwide, you will be responsible for the strategic alignment with the Business Units and Global Sales organization here at Micron!

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Key Facilitator for driving internal operating model improvements to achieve Business Plan objectives, and includes:

  • Annual plan alignment with the BU

  • Quarterly plan execution thru regional sales

  • 6–18-month strategic market demand plan alignment with BU

  • Analysis of market customer vs. Micron Technology Roadmap

  • Key participant and/or Key Driver of cross functional improvement effort

  • Representative on MSR & SNOP processes

  • Responsible for Sales coordination across all Micron sales regions with a focus on enabling existing sales teams to achieve success within target customers or market segment.

  • Cross BU coordination for regional sales

  • Responsible for BU specific messaging and communications to WW Sales team and to Executive Sales Leadership.

  • Collaborate with Business Unit management as WW Sales Leader including key participation in all Operational and Planning forums.

  • Responsible as the Key Sales leader for business plan alignment between WW Sales and Business Unit.

  • Implement tactical (quarterly) and long-term execution to sales plans.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent is required.

  • 8 or more years related validated experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.

  • Proven understanding of sales and business development with a fluid understanding of ecosystem sales and sales processes within them.

  • Strong product knowledge in applications for, preferably in the areas of memory components, chipsets, and software ecosystems.

  • Understanding of competitive dynamics and strategies of key industry players, technical and other differentiated capabilities required to win in the marketplace.

  • The ability to manage projects at all levels, drive and lead key initiatives with horizontal leadership.

  • Proven track record to work independently in sophisticated, fluid environments.

  • A proven track record of delivering results in a multifaceted, constantly evolving semiconductor industry.

  • The ability to contribute to results and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong presentation skills.

  • Previous Sales Operations experience a plus

  • Have previous experience in leading cross-functional work teams.

  • Have previous success in leading a dotted line matrixed organization.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$228,000.00 - $456,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
